Eastleigh's local amateur musical society ~ performing everything from West End favourites to Gilbert and Sullivan classics.
About Us
We have been entertaining audiences at venues across Eastleigh for more than 75 years with a wide variety of musicals and concerts. We currently perform two shows a year at The Point, Eastleigh, as well as a range of concerts.
We also have a successful junior section, Footlights Youth Theatre, for young performers from the ages of 8 to 18. See the Footlights Youth Theatre website for details.

Iolanthe
20-22 November 2025
The opera follows Iolanthe, a fairy who has been banished from fairyland for marrying a mortal. Her son, Strephon, is half-fairy and half-mortal, and he wishes to marry Phyllis, a shepherdess who is also a ward of the Lord Chancellor. However, the Lord Chancellor and several peers are also in love with Phyllis and oppose the match.
The fairies, led by the Fairy Queen, intervene in human politics to help Strephon, using magic to elevate him to a powerful political position. Chaos ensues in Parliament as fairy magic disrupts the workings of the House of Lords. In the end, love triumphs over law and tradition, and the barriers between the fairy and human worlds are cheerfully dismantled.
The opera combines whimsical fantasy with sharp political satire, typical of Gilbert and Sullivan's style.
